Since I started prison ministry, it's been a blessing in my life. I had know idea what I was getting myself into. My story begins in 2021: I heard the Lord say to me to go into prison ministry. I admit that I at first thought I didn't have what it took to do ministry in prison. I almost persuaded myself not to follow through with prison ministry. Now, it's been almost three months, and I love it! I can't stop sharing with other people about how good God is and how he is blessing me in prison ministry. It takes me two hours and thirty minutes to commute to this particular prison facility. There are times I want to complain about the long drive, but when I make it to my destination God always blesses me. I guess the moral of this story is obey God and allow Him to reveal to you new life experiences whereby you can touch the lives of other people. The enemy will try to talk you out of following God, but don't listen to him! Set your focus, and go after God. Until the next time, this has been "The Encouragement Minute."
